Picolinate chelate

Picolinic acid is a tryptophan metabolite. Bound to zinc, a common claim is that it uses organic-acid channels. Some absorption studies beat zinc oxide, but that does not guarantee higher blood zinc for everyone. Still read milligrams of elemental zinc.

Immune and skin nutrition

The physiology is still zinc itself: immune enzymes, wound repair, and taste. The chelate ligand is not another vitamin.
