Zinc Citrate

Zinc citrate is organic zinc bound to citrate; dissolution and taste are better than the oxide.

Organic-acid zinc salt

Citrate raises water solubility, so tablets and powders dissolve more readily than the oxide. The elemental fraction is moderate; the label still goes by elemental zinc. Gut tolerance is usually better than zinc sulfate.

Filling a zinc gap

The use is raising zinc intake to support immunity and tissue repair; citrate itself is not an extra immune ingredient.
