Why supplement?
Water-soluble B1 nitrate
Thiamin mononitrate is more often chosen for tablets that need stability. It is still a water-soluble B1 salt and cannot be swapped 1:1 by raw-material weight with the hydrochloride.
Carbohydrate to energy
Thiamin mononitrate is a source of Vitamin B1 (Thiamin). Thiamin is a cofactor for enzymes such as pyruvate dehydrogenase. This form brings B1 into a supplement and is used to restore coenzyme function when the diet is polished rice or absorption is poor.
How to take it

People with alcohol use, malnutrition, or malabsorption should be assessed by a clinician.
Intravenous thiamine should be given only by a professional.
· Usual oral doses are generally well tolerated
· Injectable forms rarely cause severe allergic reactions.
Long-term dependenceNot addictive; water-soluble vitamins are not usually stored in large amounts.
