Why supplement?
Seaweed iodine of unstable content
Seaweed iodine comes from brown algae and the like; iodine content can differ tens of fold. Nominally it is dietary iodine; in practice it can be high enough to disturb thyroid function, and the dose is less clear than potassium iodide.
Making thyroid hormone
Seaweed iodine is a source of iodine. Follicles organify iodine into T4/T3. This form supplies iodide or seaweed iodine; shortage causes goiter, and seaweed content is highly unstable.
How to take it

How oftenUse according to daily need; do not exceed the upper limit on your own long term.
