Why supplement?
Aspartate
Magnesium aspartate uses aspartic acid as the ligand. Absorption talk follows an amino-acid path; evidence is mixed. The benefit is magnesium, not an excitatory-amino-acid supplement.
ATP and neuromuscular function
Magnesium aspartate is a source of magnesium. Magnesium stabilizes ATP phosphate groups and helps muscles relax. This salt supplies elemental magnesium; oxide and organic salts differ sharply in absorption and laxative effect.
How to take it
Calculate by elemental magnesium, not the total weight of magnesium aspartate.
How oftenUse according to daily need, together with a diet review.

Cautions
People with kidney disease, neurologic conditions, or sensitivity to aspartate sources should ask a doctor first.
Do not self-start high doses based on athletic claims.
· Stomach discomfort
· Loose stools
· People with impaired kidney function may develop high blood magnesium.
Long-term dependenceNot addictive; long-term benefit for specific sports uses is not established.
