Primary

Eases bloating and bowel swings

It produces lactic acid and bacteriocin-like substances that restrain some putrefactive bacteria. Adult trials have watched abdominal gas, swings in bowel habit, and gut-sensitive discomfort fall. In people who often bloat or alternate constipation and diarrhea, gas and abdominal tightness more readily ease together.

Primary

Helps digest lactose

Lactose intolerance is more often studied with dried powder capsules. After supplementation, lactose intake may bring less abdominal cramping and less gas. The powder itself can carry lactase activity. Less cramping and gas after dairy meals is the change more often recorded.
