Why supplement?
Fermented mycelium and exercise fatigue
Cs-4 and C. militaris mycelium trials often watch VO2 max, lactate, and perceived fatigue, reassessed after weeks. Typical concerns are training recovery and daytime fatigue. Cordycepin varies by strain and fermentation batch; products should say militaris or Cs-4 rather than the word cordyceps alone.
Legal products are mostly fermented mycelium
Wild cordyceps almost never appears in legitimate supplements because of price and conservation. Commercial products are mostly C. militaris or Cs-4 mycelial fermentation; they supply mycelial metabolites, judged on fatigue scores and performance. Daytime fatigue is reassessed after several weeks.
How to take it
After continued use, reassess by how you feel and whether you still need it.
