Copper-enriched yeast

Copper yeast builds copper into yeast protein as a mixture. People sensitive to yeast should avoid it. Dose by milligrams or micrograms of the element, not as a protein powder.

Iron transport and collagen cross-links

Copper yeast is a source of copper. Ceruloplasmin helps move iron, and lysyl oxidase cross-links collagen. This salt supplies trace copper; long-term high zinc is the usual way to induce copper shortage.
