Lactate

Copper lactate is bound to lactate and is used when a formula wants a gentler salt. Convert to elemental amount. The use is copper physiology, not a sports lactate-metabolism drug.

Iron transport and collagen cross-links

Copper lactate is a source of copper. Ceruloplasmin helps move iron, and lysyl oxidase cross-links collagen. This salt supplies trace copper; long-term high zinc is the usual way to induce copper shortage.
